OUR MACHINERY FLEET
Born and raised around systems and equipment used to produce filters, we made use of our expertise to adapt and create machines capable of making precise, functional and durable filter elements.
The mechanical-engineering skills used in the making of efficient machinery to produce filters have evolved in the opening of an independent company specialized in the production of machines top create filter elements, septums and cartridges: TECHNOL.
PLEATING MACHINE
Our pleating machine is a flexible tool that allows us to fold filtering materials with different features such as stainless steel microstirred mesh, canvas, polyester, fiber and fabric. With this machine we produce filters with a high level of compactness. With equivalent sizes, we can manufacture filters with a greater number of folds.
LONGITUDINAL CUTTER
In the conventional production processes of filter elements for water, air, fluids and oils, connecting the filtering panel with a metal sheet increases the overall height of the filter. The consequence is that the filter element in its total height will have to include both the panel height and the metal sheet overlap.
The filter obtained will not be capable of fully utilizing the available space on the bottom for the filtering surface.
To overcome this problem and use the entire useful surface area for filtering, we use a pneumatic longitudinal cutter. This machine does not only make a cut of the fold, but it also removes the excess, gaining the space needed to compensate for the addition of the metal sheet.
FLOW FATIGUE BENCH
Some industrial sectors require a specific attention in the designing of filtering solutions resistant to high levels of stress and pressure.
To test these filtering systems, we use a resistance test which verifies the collapse point of the reinforcement nets.
This test is carried out with a Flow Fatigue Bench. This is a tool capable of testing both the initial collapse point of the filter reinforcement tube and the integrity of the filter seal, assessing the connection between paper, net and bottom of the filter.
GLUING OF THE FILTERS (PVC dosage work bench)
For the application of adhesive materials in the production of filters, we use a PVC dosage work bench, which allows us to apply maximum care and precision, even in a less critical step of production.
BYPASS VALVE ASSEMBLY BENCH
Many industrial sectors, such as agriculture, utilize oil filters with bypass valve. These filtering systems, in fact, allow engine oil to flow even when the filter is clogged.
To produce filters with a bypass valve, we use a machine designed to quickly and precisely assemble the entire valve with casing, spring, seal and cover.
TESTING THE PRODUCT – BUBBLE TEST ISO 2942
A poorly made pleating of the septum with consequent defibration of the media, an inaccurate gluing on the bottom, an incorrectly assembles bypass valve: these are all mistakes that can impair the functionality of the filter.
To verify that each and every component of the filtering system has been precisely manufactured and to verify the product compliance to the specific requests of the customer, we use the Bubble test ISO 2942. This is a piece of equipment that can detect any small imperfection on the tested filter fully automatically.
